This is so beautiful I cried…

I don’t really know what to say. This is rare. But not nearly as rare as the talent of Kseniya Simonova.

They call what she does “sand animation”. That may well be but I feel, and I make no apologies for my eulogisation, Kseniya is a concert pianist, a prima ballerina, a.. oh sod it, the woman is simply a chuffing marvel.

I don’t watch reality shows such as Pop Idols, America’s Next Big Thing etc. Too much of cheesy dross. But this is not about my issues with the dumbing-down of television. This is about a truly extraordinary young woman who showed up on “Ukraine’s Got Talent” and had her audience in tears with a performance which is wondrous and inspiring and a whole lot more.

Please do not attempt to do anything else for the next few minutes and witness Kseniya telling a story in sand (I strongly urge you to hit “pause” until the video is fully buffered and ready to play through uninterrupted)…

How beautiful was that?

You can say that again, Glyn. And again. Watching this young woman create her story was truly humbling. Thanks for your comment, Fred
